Our Story
Meet Roger & Erin
We met in 2005 and married in 2007. We are blessed with 2 beautiful children, Caitlin & Jake. We both have created amazing careers for ourselves, Roger in Operations, and Erin in HR Technology. However, as life happens, so comes change. Jake was diagnosed with Autism in 2015. We quickly immersed ourselves in anything and everything we could do to help our son and keep him engaged with us and his sister. We quickly joined different Autism and Special Needs associations and groups. As Jake has grown and gained so many abilities through therapies and school, we started to think of how we could help Jake and others as they grow and prepare for employment.
Meet Spectrum Fudge
Spectrum Fudge was created as a company where individuals on the Autism Spectrum and/or with special needs could work and learn how to make, package, and label fudge and other confectionery items. Our products are now being sold in several businesses throughout western Pennsylvania, including the Hudson News Group stores in the Pittsburgh International Airport. We hope to continue to grow our wholesale business, as well as our online store, which reaches across the United States.
Our Mission
At Spectrum Fudge, we create uniquely delicious confections while providing a supportive and inclusive workplace for individuals on the autism spectrum and with special needs. Our signature smooth and creamy fudge is crafted with premium Belgian chocolate using old-world techniques. We spread sweet joy by promoting personal growth, opportunities, awareness, and acceptance.
